Ea La Mar’s Cosmetology & Barber College is a family-owned establishment founded in 1982 by Ms. Shirley McDonald. What started as a single cosmetology school expanded with the opening of Ea La Mar’s Barber College in 1986. In 2007, Ms. Nicole Frederick Hall—Ms. McDonald’s daughter—became the proud owner of both schools, continuing the family legacy of excellence in beauty education.
For nearly 40 years, Ea La Mar’s has trained aspiring beauty professionals with a unique approach to cosmetology & barber industry education. We maintain a family-oriented environment and take pride in our comprehensive curriculum, which includes technical skills as well as business skills. Our graduates have made their mark on the world, opening salons, becoming celebrity stylists, and achieving numerous other successes. Many have become leaders in their fields.
